Emily Meyers, R.N., L.E.

Emily Meyers is the owner and operator of Skin Therapeutics MD, Ellicott City's Premier Med Spa for the past 20 years.

Shortly after starting her career as an esthetician in 2002, Emily developed a vested interest in skin health while working alongside a dermatologist. This led her to begin her career at in 2004; and ever since then, she has carried out her work with a singular commitment to client care, and a deep passion for both dermatology and traditional natural medicine.

With nearly 20 years of experience in aesthetic care and 7 as a registered nurse, Emily has a wide range of competencies. As an esthetician, she specializes in cosmetic injectables, microneedling, PRP therapy, laser skin resurfacing, IPL skin rejuvenation, laser hair removal, chemical peels, and PDO thread lifts. As a dermatologist, she is an expert at treating acne, melasma and rosacea by working with clients to create a custom-tailored skin care routine that works for them.

At Derm Collective, Emily provides our team with expert knowledge on various topics, from lip fillers to the best skin care routines for your skin type. Her thorough understanding of these topics and experience in the cosmetic space, allows us to provide an in-depth look at skin care to leave no question unanswered. Emily also reviews many of our skin care articles to ensure their accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Graduated from Von Lee International School of Aesthetics in 2002
  • Began work as an esthetician at Skin Therapeutics in 2004
  • Certified as a registered nurse since 2013
