Dr. Jeanine Downie is the director of Image Dermatology in Montclair, New Jersey. She is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and specializes in a number of procedures including state-of-the-art laser treatments. Dr. Downie joined Derm Collective as a medical expert and reviewer in October 2019.
At Derm Collective, she provides our team with expert knowledge on a number of skin care topics, from managing combination skin to acne treatments. Her thorough understanding of these topics allows us to provide an in-depth look at skin care to leave no question unanswered. Dr. Downie also reviews many of our skin care articles to ensure their accuracy.
Dr. Downie lectures on behalf of some of the most prestigious medical societies in America, including the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDA), the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), the Women's Dermatologic Society (WDS) and the Skin Cancer Foundation (SCF).
She is an instructor for the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery Fillers and Injectables course, and is a long-standing member of Allergan’s National Exchange Forum, where she serves as a faculty member, teaching Botox cosmetic and filler injection techniques.
Dr. Downie has been honored as one of the top cosmetic doctors in New Jersey by NJ Savvy Living Magazine and New Jersey Life Magazine. She has also been honored many times by Castle Connolly as one of New York Metropolitan’s Top Doctors.
Dr. Downie regularly provides her expert knowledge across a variety of TV shows. She has been featured on The Today Show, Good Morning America, The View, The Dr. Oz Show and The Rachael Ray Show.
